NAWGJ WA Board Meeting Minutes

March 31, 2008, Kirkland, WA.
Present: Nola Ayres, Lee Bjella, Denise Green, Barb MacAfee, Laurie Reid, Jan Urfer, Karen Wisen, and Laurel Tindall

The current board has all been re-elected for another 2 year term.

TEC Contract approved for the 2008-09 season.

Master Schedule is posted at NWA at the State Clinic, along with updated calendar for next year. These will be posted on the web sites.

Jan brought new directories for tomorrows State NAWGJ meeting for people to update.

The remaining Start Value cards will be given to judges who need them.

Critique Meets discussed. Tom Kohl is coming in Oct. It will be held at Newport HS.
Tammy Biggs will be here in Dec. That info will be put on web as it is developed.

Testing: next season, we the board, need to offer lots of study sessions in our areas.

Professionalism - we as board have to set the tone for our state. We as judges are paid to give our opinion. No talking about personal issues concerning other judges. It is better to get up and leave if a gossip session is going on. Connie Maloney brings games to meets for everyone to play during session breaks. It is a problem in all areas.

NAWGJ Board will now be in charge of the Hall of Fame Banquet.

Discussion of the skit for Donna's Hall of Fame induction later in the morning.
