NAWGJWA Spring Board Meeting 2009

Held at Marriot Hotel, Kirkland, WA. May 30, 2009, 7:30 AM. All present except Karen.

1. Budget 2009-2010 - $10,000
Jan increase to $350 for fall assigning
$1800 purchase of USAG DVD's for judge's education (the Jeni Miller dvd)
Supplementing the state clinic costs for Myra and Priscilla - our presenters
Propose: buying flip charts for our judges? $1700
Purchased: tv/dvd player with everyone's approval and Ann. $455
Purchase of 50 enhanced DVD's @ $10 ea= $500

2. Fundraising 2009
Bids received by Gym East for Candy Corn, and Metro for Holiday Express:
Dates of critiques: Candy Corn co-hosted with Gym East: September 25-27 2009
Included this year is optional "How to Utilize the New Code".
Clinicians set are Tom Koll, Tom Gardner, Patty and Neil Resnick, Cheryl Jarrett, Tony Ammonds, Bob Levesque and Laurie Reid. Friday and clinics at Gym East, and Critique Sat. and Sun. at Newport HS.
Holiday Express/Kay Canedy Critique Meet -Optionals - co-hosted with Metro, Dec. 17-21. Tammy Biggs Dance clinic as well. Guest judges Tammy Biggs, Sue Graff and possibly Linda Mulvihill.

3. Hall of Fame Banquet - the board is in charge. Discussed duties.

4. USAG state clinic, discussed duties.

5. Discussed the board hosting or scheduling practice study sessions around the state for the up coming tests.
